The short version

QuoteLoop has no adverts, no tracking and no analytics. We keep only what we need to run your account and keep your work safe if you change phone. We never sell your information or use it for marketing.

Your account

You can create an account with your email, Apple or Google. We keep your first name, email and the kind of work you do, so you can sign in.

If you use your email, your password is stored scrambled, so nobody can read it, us included. If you use Apple or Google, they confirm it’s you and share your name and email with us. We never see your Apple or Google password, and Apple lets you hide your real email if you prefer.

Your account keeps a copy of your work, so your prices, clients and quotes are safe if you change or lose your phone.

What we keep

• Your business details, prices and weekly goal.
• Your bank details, if you add them, so they can go on your invoices.
• Your quotes: the client’s name, mobile number, address, the job, the price and any note you add to the quote.
• Your diary: booked jobs, dates, times, addresses and notes.
• Your invoices, and which ones have been paid.
• Your expenses and mileage, and your answers to two tax questions (whether you have another job and whether you live in Scotland), for the tax estimate.
• Your clients, and when you last asked each one for a review.
• Your Google review link, if you add one.
• A few settings, such as which maps app you like and how you send quotes.

Your earnings and tax estimate are worked out from your diary and expenses, so they aren’t kept separately. Your bank details only appear on invoices you choose to send.

Notes about your clients

Each job has a notes box for things like a key safe code, parking or pets. Notes are kept with the job in your account and are for you only. They’re never added to a quote or a message unless you type them in yourself.

Because notes can hold things like key safe codes, keep your phone locked and your sign-in details private. When you no longer clean for someone, delete their codes from your notes.

You decide what to keep about your clients, and you’re responsible for it as their cleaner or contractor. Keep only what you need for the job.

Your location

The app only asks for your location when you tap to see how far away a job is. Your phone works out the distance itself. To find the client’s address on the map, it uses your phone’s own map service: Apple on iPhone, Google on Android. We never receive your location, and you can turn it off at any time in your phone’s settings.

Sending quotes and messages

Quote PDFs are made on your phone. When you send one, the app opens WhatsApp, Messages, email or your share menu, and it goes wherever you choose. QuoteLoop doesn’t send messages itself. Review requests work the same way.

Directions open the maps app you pick (Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze) with the client’s address. That app’s own privacy policy then applies.

Paying for QuoteLoop

You pay through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google take the payment, and we never see your card details. They tell us whether your subscription is active so the app can unlock.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account and your work for as long as your account is open. Deleting the app only removes it from your phone; your account is still there when you sign in again.

To delete your account and everything in it, open the app and go to You, then Account, then Delete my account. If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the email you signed up with, and we’ll delete it within 30 days and tell you when it’s done.

This website

quoteloop.co.uk has no cookies and no analytics. It’s hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.

If you email us to hear when the app launches, we keep your email address only to tell you when QuoteLoop launches, then delete it. You can ask us to remove it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this page

If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and tell you in the app first.
